What an incredible day of service! Today, our students showed up with enthusiasm, respect, and a strong work ethic for our annual NSP Gives Back Day. From painting a mural and prepping the youth baseball field in Plaza to spring cleaning both Plaza parks, our teams tackled every task with heart. In Makoti, students stained bleachers, pulled weeds, raked the park, prepped for spring, and even gave the pool building a fresh coat of paint! We’re so proud of their commitment to giving back to our communities. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success — our students truly made a difference!

The NSP 6-8th grade student council representatives had a great time in Bismarck at the Middle Level Student Council Conference! We learned about leadership and service. Nick Tokman from the TV show Deadliest Catch talked to the kids about following their dreams and persevering when things get tough. We earned a certificate for our fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer’s Foundation as well. The kids mingled with other schools and made some new friends too!

Pastries with peeps, book fair, and reading month, oh my! We had an amazing day at NSP celebrating literacy, families and friends. We wrapped up reading month today by handing out over 60 prizes in grades Pre-K through 12. We can not even begin to express our gratitude to those who donated prizes for this great event! The kids were reading rock stars!! ✨ We would like to give a big shout out to Barb Dyke and Grandma Jo for providing the "sweet" incentives. I wasn't going to say a "peep" but the kids were just too excited so I had to share these contributions. Thanks to all who made this a special experience for our Wildcat readers. Now, just keep reading!! 📖

Pastries with Peeps was a sweet success! We’re so grateful to everyone who made this event possible—from the team who helped pull it all together, to Bearscat Donuts for donating some of the delicious pastries, to RTC for providing the cups, to those who donate to Reading Month, and to Sara Lee for capturing the moments behind the camera. Most of all, thank you to our students’ “peeps” for showing up and being such an important part of their lives.
