Two of the fourth graders vocabulary words this week are ascend and descend. These words fit in perfectly as we went outside to fly kites with Mr. Olson and the STEM class today! I heard many students applying their vocabulary knowledge to this activity. Thanks for this great opportunity, Mr. Olson!
Second graders had a fun trip to the fire hall. Thanks to Fireman Bob, we learned many fire safety tips. North Dakota second graders are all celebrating Smoky the Bear's 80th birthday this week. The US forest service sent us Smokey the Bear activities and fun treasures. We had a great day learning about fire safety!
With October being fire prevention month, the elementary took a trip to the fire hall to learn all about fire safety! Fireman Bob presented fun facts and safety tips that students can practice at home.

Our K-12 students have done an amazing job beautifying the sidewalks around our school after the Red Ribbon Assembly. Let's celebrate saying "no" to negative peer pressure and choosing healthy options for our bodies!

Missoula Children's Theatre will be at North Shore Plaza from March 24-29! We're looking for children interested in auditioning for Hansel and Gretel on March 24. With roles of all sizes, everyone is welcome—no acting experience required! Practices will be nightly leading up to performances on March 28 and 29.
