We’re excited to share a fun opportunity for students to recognize their favorite teachers!

The Minot Hot Tots have partnered with McDonald’s to host a **Kids’ Choice Awards: Teacher Edition**—a fun (and slightly messy!) way to celebrate the incredible educators in our community.

✨ Here’s what’s in store:
⭐ First 50 nominated teachers receive a free game ticket + recognition
🎉 Finalists may get a surprise school visit (yes… slime included!), plus jerseys, tickets, and a feature on KMOT
🏆 One grand prize winner gets free coffee for a year, a classroom party, a $250 school supply gift card, and a VIP game experience

Today our team traveled to Bismarck for the State Competition!

Gracie, Aisley, Chloe, and Madison represented North Shore Plaza School with determination and resilience. The test was incredibly challenging, but the experience pushed them to learn and grow in new ways.

We are so proud of their hard work, courage, and willingness to take on such a tough competition. Way to go, girls! 👏

Doug from Mystery Science is teaching NSP 2nd graders about materials and properties. It seems we were stranded on a deserted island and these were the only materials available to make hats to shade us from the sun. We had a lots of fun designing our sun hats!

🌿 NSP Gives Back Day – April 29th 🌿

On April 29th, our students will be out in the community for our annual NSP Gives Back Day — a special day dedicated to service and lending a helping hand.

In past years, students have helped with:
✔️ Raking leaves and cleaning up yards
✔️ Picking up branches and spring debris
✔️ Trimming trees
✔️ Painting fences, picnic benches and buildings
✔️ Painting the Wildcat sign at the Plaza ball field

Our students are ready and willing to help wherever extra hands are needed! If you or someone you know could use assistance with spring cleanup or small projects, we would love to connect. Please give us a call at the school!

We had a great first track practice! We did some indoor warmups, circuit stations and cool downs while making it fun. It was awesome to see the turnout. We can't wait for some warmer temperatures to get those running shoes hitting the town.
