NSP GBB vs Alexander 1-20-25 Player of the Game
Congratulations to Harper Mortenson for being named Player of the Game. Harper made her presence felt all over the court. She led the team in a host of statistical categories while putting up quite the stat line. She ended with 20 points, 20 rebounds, 7 deflections, 5 steals, and 3 blocks. All of this was possible due to great teammates around her getting her the ball in a position to score, boxing out really well so she could grab the rebounds, and getting solid traps so she could jump the pass for deflections and steals. Congratulations to Harper and the entire team on the win.
Looking ahead for 4/5/6/Boys Lewis and Clark Longhorn Basketball - reversible uniforms have been ordered. Here is a sneak peek!!

NSP VS WTCS will be a Junior High Game Only at 5:30 in the new gym. We have scheduled Stanley for a JV and Varsity game starting at 4:30 and 5:45 in the old gym.

Last week was an exciting week for our fifth grade Wildcats! 🌻 We delved into sunflower farming in North Dakota, learning about plant parts, the essential role of bees in sunflower production, and even made our own Sunbutter with ND grown sunflowers and local honey! 🍯✨ It was a delicious experience, especially since some of our parents have grown sunflowers too!

The Lewis and Clark boys' sports teams will proudly adopt LONGHORNS as their new nickname starting next school year. The LCSD school board unanimously approved the change last night after a public vote showed Longhorns as the preferred choice, winning 56% to 44% over Nighthawks. With the new name officially in place, the district's next step will be designing a logo and mascot to bring the Longhorns' identity to life.
