Mark your calendars! On April 30, 2025, our students will once again be rolling up their sleeves for NSP Gives Back Day – a day dedicated to showing our appreciation for the amazing local communities we call home.
Last year, we tackled some incredible projects, including:
🎨 Painting & cleaning up Makoti Park
⚾ Painting the school baseball fence
⛪ Scraping & painting Trinity Cemetery
🌿 Cleaning Plaza Park
🏡 Prepping a community member’s yard for spring
This year, we’re ready to make an even bigger impact – and we can’t wait to get to work!

Our Wildcats made it to the District tourney. Let's support them by attending the game. We will dismiss at 1:55 and buses will leave at 2:00. This will allow staff and students to cheer on our team. Go Wildcats.
NSP Player of the Game vs Alexander February 1st 2025
Harper Mortenson was named Player of the Game, showcasing an impressive all-around performance that propelled the Wildcats to victory. Mortenson achieved her 10th double-double of the season, finishing with 15 points, 6 assists, and a remarkable 11 rebounds,
demonstrating her versatility and impact on both ends of the court. From the opening tip, Mortenson was a dynamic force, contributing to the Wildcats' offense with efficient scoring. Additionally, her 6 assists highlighted her ability to create opportunities for her teammates. On the defensive end, Mortenson was relentless, securing 11 rebounds, which were
crucial in limiting the opposition's second-chance points. Her hustle and determination were evident as she battled for position and fought through traffic to grab crucial boards.
Congratulations, Harper, on a fantastic game!

What a great first day of the History of Hip Hop! The students were so engaged and loved DJ Pretty Ricky and Michael Bloom. Can't wait for tomorrow. We will live stream our celebration at the end of the day. We will post the url tomorrow.

With our new sports co-op agreement in the Lewis and Clark School District, we have an opportunity to gauge the interest of our constituents in coaching. With that being stated, we are advertising all boys sports coaching positions in the sports of football, basketball, baseball, and golf. These positions will be elementary, junior high, assistant varsity, and head coaches. We will close this window of application on Friday, February 14, 2024. Please understand this coop is two campuses 30 miles apart. We will have practices and contests somewhat equally at both sites, provided facilities are available. If you are interested in consideration please send a note of interest to marc.ritteman@k12.nd.us
NSP wants to send a HUGE shoutout to the following for their continued support for the Wildcats and helping provide free access to watch all Wildcat activities. Those activities include sports games, programs, concerts, graduations, etc.
Our Hudl camera provides live-streaming of our events inside both gymnasiums throughout the school year.

The NSP ag students attended the McKenzie County ag show. They were able to listen to world renowned animal expert Temple Grandin. They also attended sessions on animal handling and virtual grazing. A great opportunity and day for these students.
