Friday-Longhorn Pride-Horns Up. Game on! (Go all out in Longhorn gear and colors!)

Third grade reviewed place value by building their own place value houses using base-ten blocks! It was a hands-on and engaging way to practice understanding the value of each digit. 🏠🔢

Lady longhorns had their first Varsity meet at an actual 9 hole course. They did so well playing 18 holes! Claire got 22nd out of 39 girls! Piper got 26th and Kalea got 29th. The girls keep pushing toward playing their best golf at the region tournaments. Good job ladies!

Shout out to Kalea for chipping in on hole 7 for par yesterday!

The Kindergarten has been busy learning about characters. This week our character was a kangaroo and we made a little Joey to hop into the pouch.

Had our last JH golf meet in Tioga last Thursday. Girls did so well. Kalea placed 10th and Piper placed 14th.

Learning the periodic table with a little friendly competition! Our 6th graders put their element knowledge to the test with a game of Periodic Table Battleship. Such a fun way to practice locating elements while building familiarity with the periodic table!
