Our 6th grade scientists kicked off their chemical reactions unit with a hands-on pumpkin investigation! Throughout the experiment, students observed the production of carbon dioxide gas, resulting in a bubbling chemical reaction. This engaging activity allowed students to explore evidence of chemical change while connecting scientific concepts to a fun Halloween experiment! 🧪🎃

🚗 How road-ready is the teen driver in your life?

This week we've talked about:

🚛 Truck blind spots
🛑 Longer stopping distances
↪️ Wide turns
🚗 Safely sharing the road

Now put that knowledge into practice.

Visit the NDMCA Teen Driving Center and explore interactive resources designed to help young drivers understand what happens when they share the road with large trucks.

👉 Visit the Teen Driving Center: https://www.ndmca.org/teendrivercenter/

Parents — explore it with your teen.

Educators — share it with your students.

Businesses and community partners — help us get this resource into the hands of North Dakota families.

National Teen Driver Safety Week may be ending, but building safer drivers continues all year long.
