☀️ SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER! 🏖️
Congratulations to all our students and staff on a fantastic year!
Please note that Summer Break officially begins on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
Have a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer. We'll see everyone back in the fall!

We began by exploring animal habitats and the adaptations animals need to survive. From there, each student chose an animal to research and created a Canva presentation that later became a poster board project. The students were so excited to share their research findings with classmates, elementary students, and their families!
As a class, we also learned about butterflies, including their life cycle and body parts. This week, our butterflies hatched, giving students a fun hands-on learning experience they will not forget. 🦋
One of the most exciting parts of our animal unit was welcoming three baby chicks into our classroom. Students loved observing their habitat, watching them grow, and of course getting the chance to hold them! Our classroom visitors enjoyed them just as much. 🐥
To wrap up our animal research unit, the first grade class took a trip to the zoo this week where students observed giraffes, tigers, lions, and many more amazing animals in person. It has been such a fun and engaging learning experience for everyone! 🦒🐅

📣 We are doing a test run of our new communication platform!
You may receive an email asking you to click a link and register — feel free to do so. We’ll be running this process several times throughout the summer to help get everyone registered and connected. 📧✅
