The Bombers are spreading love in library class. ❤️ Our librarian, Mrs. Hansen, purchased fleece fabric for the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students to make tie blankets. We enjoyed having help from Grandmas in our community. These blankets were donated to the Sanford Pediatric Cancer Center in Fargo in honor of Mrs. Hansen's grandson Kade, and several children of her friends who have battled cancer at this center. Thank you Mrs. Hansen, volunteers, and students for creating these blankets! ✈️💜💛

The 4-6th graders are wrapping up their book studies with celebrations! The 4th graders dressed up as characters from 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and watched the movie. The 5th graders had tea and desserts to watch 'Matilda'. Lastly, the 6th graders competed in 'Bud, Not Buddy' jeopardy. These Bombers love diving into great novels! ✈️📚 Keep up the great work kids!

At the beginning of October, Sawyer Neubauer and Hank Asmundson attended the Fly ND Aviation Career Expo. They got to see a variety of airplanes/equipment, hear from industry leaders in the aviation field, gain knowledge of the steps to becoming a pilot, and learn what different careers there are related to aviation. They also met with UND to hear what a degree in aviation all entails, and they met with their aviation instructor, Clint May while they were there. Overall it was a great, immersive experience!

Check out these webs of possibilities! Kindergarten through 6th grade each created a web with some of their amazing qualities. We referenced the book Charlotte's Web and discussed how all the different animals share the same space just like we do. They all may be different but by sharing their unique qualities with the others they can all get along and enjoy the same space. Just like we are all different and have different qualities that we can bring to the table to create a fun, safe learning environment.
