Teegyn Anderson job shadowed with Schaefer Veterinary Services this past week. She was able to engage in a lot of different activities with the veterinarians, including giving shots to animals and draining an abscess. Here's what Teegyn had to say about her experience:
"My experience with job shadowing was very beneficial in many ways! It helped me understand more about what being a large animal veterinarian is all about. I learned how to prepare and give a shot, this will not only help me with becoming a vet but also if I decide to take up a career in nursing. I would recommend job shadowing to everyone because it gives you a chance to get a feel on what that certain career is going to be like and I would love to do job shadowing again."
