The 7th grade Life Science Class had to make DNA using 2 kinds of ttwizzlers and 4 colors of gummy bears. They had to recreate Deoxyribose (sugar), phosphate group, and nitrogen bases (Adenine, Guanine, Thymine, and Cytosine). They had to make sure tthat adenine = thymine and cytosine = guanine on their model. The model had to mimic a ladder with the sugar and phosphate on the sides and the nitrogen bases in the middle.
