The Berthold first graders had an exciting collaborative Zoom call with the first grade class from Leeds, ND! It was an extra special connection as Benson County will also be competing in the State B Girls Basketball Tournament this weekend.
With the help of Mrs. Erickson, students took turns asking thoughtful questions to solve the mystery number. Some of the questions included: “Is it odd or even?” “Is there a 2 in the ones place?” and “Is it less than or greater than ___?”
The students were engaged, respectful, and so excited to work together. It was a fun and meaningful learning collaboration that combined math, aand effective communication skills.
