If you've walked past the elementary science room and thought you heard lots of noises and strange sounds, you probably did! The fourth graders have been learning about how sound carries as a vibration. We have experimented with loud, soft, high, and low pitched sounds using materials like balloons and rope. As we wrap up our unit students will build their own sound measuring device out of boxes and plastic wrap!
