We packed BIG, BUSY fun and learning into our preschool week — perfect for the letter Bb because we had Bubbles, Baking, Buddies, and (not) Turkeys!
We tried fog bubbles (for the letter Bb) this week and the kids were hooked! They loved putting on their gloves, catching the bubbles, and watching the little puff of fog escape when they popped. Lots of big smiles and “Do it again!” moments!
We also made gingerbread dough ornaments with our 5th-grade buddies. The room smelled amazing as everyone rolled out dough, used cookie cutters, and worked together to create ornaments we’ll hang and decorate next week.
For our First Bite Gingerbread Cookie Graphing activity, each child took one bite of a gingerbread man cookie and we graphed whether they bit the head, arm, or leg first. After our graph was finished, the cookies were happily gobbled up! Thank you, Mrs. Kittleson, for the delicious cookies!
Our “Turkey in Disguise” projects turned out adorable! Each family got so creative — every turkey was wonderfully disguised and definitely not like a turkey anymore. The kids loved showing off their disguises!
What a sweet, busy, and creative week in preschool!
