Our fourth graders were in for a treat this Tuesday when Mr. Neshem (Bomber Nation parent and former student) visited our class to talk about his job in the oil industry. The class has been learning about the formation of oil and natural gas in the Bakken millions of year ago during the Paleozoic Era. The students were excited to ask questions about horizontal drilling, hydraulic fracturing, work-over rigs, setting the well, and careers in ND oil and gas.
