In 3rd grade Science we started the year off with a unit on Forces and Motion. The first lesson is dealing with pushes and pulls. Students had the chance to make a "HopperPopper". Then the students had a chance to see how high their Hoppers would fly. They used simple cardboard, ruler, rubber band and a pencil for supplies. They had fun and had some laughs.
