8th Grade ND Studies maps out new territory!

The 8th graders have been learning about how the newcomers to North Dakota viewed and surveyed the land long ago. In this activity, they had to create a map of the school and pretend it was new land. They had to decide if the area was fit for a school, much like the newcomers to land had to decide if the area was good for farming. The 8th grade explorers had to note important details that would be needed for a school, such as classrooms, lockers, and more! They ultimately came to a conclusion that this was a great place to have a school!
