Junior Financial Literacy students recently wrapped up their Career Readiness unit by job shadowing in a field of interest to them. Job shadowing allows students an opportunity to follow and observe an employee performing a particular role and gives them a hands-on experience in their chosen field.
Some of the fields students shadowed in include education, physical therapy, vision care, banking, graphic design, electrical, HVAC, construction, law, and healthcare.
According to the follow-up surveys, students found it to be a very positive and rewarding experience.
