Deysi Krisher was invited to the 2nd grade classroom for a visit on Thursday to tell us about wrestling. She is a sister to 2nd grader, Sloan. Deysi is also the Bomber Buddy to Claire Babinchak.
Deysi began her wrestling career this year on the Lakers/Bombers team. She told us she always wanted to wrestle, but was scared to try it. With some encouragement from fellow wrestler and friend, Kashtyn Bredahl, she did it and she's sure happy she did! Wrestling is the sport for her! Deysi answered many questions from the 2nd grade class and then some more! We all learned more than any of us knew about the sport of wrestling! There are quite a few future wrestlers in 2nd grade who can't wait to start next month. We have 2 wrestlers already practicing in pre-season who played last year. Deysi is one of the coaches for that once a week! Thank you again, Deysi for coming out of your comfort zone and visiting us and teaching us so much!
