First Grade has been working hard in writing! Before winter break, they were able to independently complete their first official writing piece. First Graders navigated the writing process and diligently worked through the editing and revising phases of their first drafts; AKA "sloppy copies!" Now, they are officially "published!"
Mrs. Hennessy is so proud of their efforts and perseverance seeing this first writing project through. They are already on to their next masterpieces in Informative Writing! So far, they've chosen their topic, determined two or more subtopics, and are working on a strong introduction to hook the reader. Amazing things are coming, and we can't wait to share what's next!
